UPDATE: Thank you for all

your love and support during Josh’s long fight. Our sweet Josh took his last breath with Abby by his side, as always. Any GoFund me donations will be sent to the BenLilah Family trust to support them as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

UPDATE: Abby, Josh and the kids had an amazing week sailing, swimming, snorkeling and just being together. They are on their way back, I hear Josh has been relaxed and happy. They are grateful beyond words to have had this time together!!!

UPDATE: Thanks to all of you and your generous gifts, Abby has booked a one week trip leaving April 23 out of St Thomas. Capt Justin and First Mate Maddie will no doubt take excellent care of them. Interestingly, Justin is from CT and Maddie is from Kansas City - great karma all around!

To say that Abby is grateful would be the understatement of a lifetime. She will, I am sure, send me pictures to post so you can all share in this adventure which you all made possible.

Please know that while the trip was a little more than we anticipated, there are definitely funds that are left over which Abby is going to set aside to help with inevitable costs that we know are coming as Josh's disease progresses. Knowing that there is even a small amount set aside is a tremendous comfort to her.

Dear Friends and Family: As we all know, our Josh is first and foremost a Sailor, and the water is where he and Abby, and the kids are most happy. Josh would very much like to take the kids sailing and Abby is trying hard to plan a trip on a sailboat captained by a crew who will provide them a chance to just be together as a family. Given Josh's disease progression, they are hoping to go by the end of this month before his next set of appointments in Boston. Due to the time of year, this will involve traveling and will be an expensive trip. I would love to help make this happen, and given that so many of you have asked how you can help, i am hoping that you might consider a contribution. Any amount would be helpful and so, so appreciated to offset the cost.

Anything we raise above the goal for the trip would really help them in the coming months as Abby might be able to take some time off work to be with Josh.
