Because We C.A.R.E.

As you’re aware, Hurricane Harvey made landfall last week and left behind a wake of devastation. What you may not be aware of, however, is that some of those effected by this devastation were some of our own.  We have 10 full-time and 5 part-time therapists left without any means of income, as they find themselves stranded in their homes, with many of their patients forced to evacuate their own homes as well.  A few of our therapist have only had access to their homes by boat. Can you imagine?  As we gather supplies for the victims of Harvey, we would also like to do something for some of our fellow KidsCare family.   As the recruiter for KidsCare, I wanted to help you help our therapist tranded in Houston.  They need our help now more than ever.  I have helped bring them to KidsCare, but you help them each day by proessing their clients, helping them with their tablets, families, and scheduling. 

You have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of 15 people by donating what you can; people you know in the trenches day in, day out helping improve the lives of our patients, rain or shine. The total amount we raise will be divided up among our therapists to help them makes ends meet. Maybe they are having to tow cars out of the water or put a down payment on a new car after Harvey totaled their old one.  Some may need a new mattress because their old one is now underwater.  There are endless ways financial help can aid in this time of need.  We want to step up and help them replace what they lost and find grounding after the devastation.

This campaign will be shared with KidsCare employees for one week.  The first week will run from September 5th-12th.  After the completion of the first week, we will ask that you share it with family and friends that you feel would like to help our fellow therapists. The second week will run from September 12th-19th.  We will only run this campaign for two weeks so that we can get this money into the hands of the people that are in dire need of financial resources as quickly as possible.  Erik Baker will oversee the withdraw and ensure the funds are delived to the appropriate therapist. 

When you contribute to this fund, you are touching the lives of people close to you. You will be able to watch as your hard-earned money helps your peers who have lost so much. You will be the one directly changing 15 lives.  We will divide the funds between our Part-time and Full-time therapist employeed in the Houston area. 

KidsCare Therapy is a place where we commit to helping our patients, and now we have the opportunity to help each other. They are unaware this type of help is coming, but will be shocked and so grateful when it arrives.
