Help us bring our baby into the world in the safe and loving enviornment of our own home!
We have decided to have a home birth, which is not covered by our insurance, and so we are asking for help to pay our amazing and talented birth team of midwives and our doula!
Having the baby in a hospital setting is something that does not feel comfortable or ideal for Meghan, and as this is our first birth, we want to do everything we can to feel in control and in love.

Ideally, we will be able to pay our midwives in full before our delivery. We are asking for half of their payment, plus a little extra to help us so that Obatala can take off of work for a week when the baby arrives. Our baby is due January 1st, 2018. Anything you can give before then will help us tremedously. There is no amount too small. We love and appreciate our family, friends and extended community so much for helping us bring our baby to earth.
