Senior Gift to School

Everybody knows what it's like to need money. At some point in our lives, we've all been in a tight spot and maybe even needed to ask a friend for a couple of bucks to hold us over until the next paycheck. We all know it is pretty hard to ask people for money, and, yes, that is exactly what we are doing. But, we are not asking you for money to help pay for gas or to cover the insurance, we are asking you to become a part of our legacy here at BVM Academy.
BVM Academy is a small, private school nestled in the little town of Warners, New York. It is a school where principles are upheld and values are impressed upon students from an early age. Both inside and outside the classroom, our students know that success is not an option, and now that is why the senior class is trying to raise money for their gift to the school. Every year, it is a tradition for the graduating class to give some sort of parting gift to show their appreciation for everything the school has done for them. The past gifts have ranged from statues and gardens to the large sign that is out in front of the school, but no other class has aspired to something as big as the plans of this year’s senior class.
Our group of competent and determined seniors has been working harder than ever to be able to present a new entryway to our school upon graduation. The existing doors and steps are barely surviving from all the wear-and-tear they have received over the past seventy-five years, and are badly in need of a replacement. After months of fundraising with popcorn fundraisers, coupon-book fundraisers, and movie nights at the school, we have come in proximity to our intended quota; however, this one last fundraiser online is completely necessary. If you can remember your senior year, you have to admit, it is pretty busy. We will continue to fundraise until June, but we cannot reach our goal alone. It would be a shame for us if we were not able to obtain our goal and make our school proud. We need your help to get this new entrance in by June. Anyone can afford ten dollars, even college kids, so if everybody gave us just that, we would make our goal in no time. Please donate today and share this page with everyone you know.
