Soccer Mission Trip - Haiti/Nicaragua

Hello, my name is Ateeba and I just love SOCCER and what better way to share my passion for the sport than by giving back! I have been given an incredible opportunity to travel with BlessBack Worldwide on a mission trip to Haiti and Nicaragua. Our team will spend time in Haiti from June 21st-28th and travel to Nicaragua July 5th -12th. I will have the opportunity to bless others with the blessings I have been given as I minister to the people of Haiti and Nicaragua through my gifts and love of SOCCER. We are taking a 12 member team of coaches from Charlotte, Weddington and Waxhaw, NC to offer soccer camps for the youth of the village. We are the first group to travel with Bless Back Worldwide to use sports ministry as our primary resource. Our goal is to build relationships with the boys and girls in the village, provide positive influences, and promote spiritual support through the power of sports all the while loving the people in the southern region of the country. We will be using the world's most popular sport of SOCCER as our avenue for ministry. I will also be interning with a few doctors while I am there (since I want to go into Chiropractic medicine). More than anything, I value your prayers for our team and those whose lives will be touched by God through us. Please pray for safety, good health, smooth travel and financial support. Just knowing you will be praying will give me peace as I go into an unfamiliar place.

Each team member is expected to raise approximately $3000 to cover costs for BOTH trips, which includes shipment of soccer balls, clothes, shoes, and t-shirts for the villagers, and additional funds to support the efforts of Bless Back Worldwide health and education programs.
