My 25-yr old daughter is battling oral cancer, specifically, Squamous Cell Carcinoma.  A cancerous tumor grew on her tongue and she had to have most of her tongue removed where the cancer was. She now has to feed using a feeding tube that is connected to her stomach. However, our insurance is not covering her tube feeding formula or the supplies. We're forced to pay out of pocket for her formula. A one-month supply is nearly $500 a month! We could use all the help we can get for the only food Angie is able to intake. We don't know if she'll always have to feed this way but we do know that the insurance will not cover any kind of formula.
