Forever 15

I'm the mother of Amya Marie Monserrat. She was tragically taken away on April 15th, 2023 due to gun violence at the tender age of 15. Amya attended Valley Christian High School in Youngstown, Ohio. She was a very popular cheerleader and an honor roll student. She loved her siblings, especially her new baby sister. Amya had a love for cooking, dancing, and all animals.

Amya was taken away too soon. Amya was my 2nd oldest child. She was creative, with lots of love to give. We talked about her going to school for physical therapy at Choffin.

I want to keep her legacy alive by starting a foundation called Forever 15. This foundation's core focus will be to give back to our community. Some of the proceeds will be used to cover funeral expenses.
