While on a 7 day liquid fast and during a time of consecration, The Lord flipped my life upside down. Again.

It's kind of turning into a regular thing between Him and I.

"Amanda, remember what I have already called you to..." Said the Lord.

Back in the fall, God blatantly told me to go to India with SPARK Worldwide. With the chaos of highschool and my trip to Africa in January, that calling slipped my mind after a couple of months. While I was in Uganda, He reminded me that that calling hasn't changed.

I argued with Him, telling Him that it was impossible for me to partake in this trip because of school and softball, not to mention funds.

I quickly learned that you can't win an argument with the Lord.

For weeks I prayed and sought the Lord on what action I was supposed to take next, and He made it very clear to me what I was to do.

Jesus, so clearly and so sweetly, called me to give up my senior year of softball, graduate early, and go across the world in April.

After playing my last softball game on Friday, and enrolling in an alternative highschool on Tuesday, I am days away from graduating.

It has been the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but Jesus has given me a great grace and favor to step into this calling that He has given me.

I've been 18 years old for 2 weeks, and the Lord has called me to a whole new level of surrender. What choice have I, than to partner with Him?

I am beyond excited to see what He is doing with me and through me. Sometimes when Jesus calls you to something, it's like you're peaking through a narrow window: unable to see what lies ahead. Day by day, the window gets wider and wider. As I take more and more steps into this calling, my perspective is broadened, and I am able to see more clearly what exactly He is doing.

I am Inlove with 20 hour flights and sleepless nights, I am Inlove with beautiful little boys and girls around the world, and I am Inlove with this crazy, indescribable life that Jesus has called me to live.

In just 49 days I will leave with SPARK to go to our orphanage in India, and while we are there we will be loving on babies and visiting Leper Colonies, where we will pray for signs, miracles, and wonders.

With such short time, I am short of the funds. I am asking for prayer warriors and sponsors to partner with me.

Thank you for believing with me and standing with me. In doing that, you also stand with Jesus.
