Our dear uncle Alex Garcia passed away on Tuesday, June 27th. He was 45 years old. Alex was unlike any person on this earth. Described by friends and loved ones as a unique light. He was someone who marched to the beat of his own drum. He was incredibly kind, infinitely talented, charming, loving and funny. He loved his family and adored all of his friends. There will never be another one like him. 

This loss came unexpectedly for our family and we were not prepared for the cost of another funeral. We are doing all we can to contribute, but as you may know, the cost of even a simple funeral can be very expensive. 

Currently, the baseline cost of the funeral is going to be $4,700. That does not include the cost of the cemetary land. In addition, Go Fund Me will ask for 5% of the total that we raise. So although we have established a goal of $5,000, any amount will truly help us out.
