Aiden's christmas wish is a prosthetic eye

Hello my name is Danyell and I'm the mother to a very handsome young man that I call my son. His name is Aiden he just turned 15 years old on November 21st and is in the 8th grade. Aiden was born with COLOBOMA OF CHOROID RETINA, OPTIC NERVE AND MICROPHTHALMIA in the left eye. Means he is completely blind in that eye. He never has had vision in that eye at all, and never will. The eye ball is still in there but it's super tiny and that's why his eye lid stays closed. The eye doctor has suggested to us to get him a SCLERAL COVER SHELL PROSTHETIC. I made an appointment for Aiden and went to it @ Soper Brothers & Associates in downtown Houston. Got there we were under the impression that they accepted his insurance because when I spoke with the receptionist to make the appointment I specifically asked her if they accepted Medicaid and she said yes. But when we get there and they go over all of the steps to get started with the prosthetic they said it would run us roughly $3500.00-$4000.00. I told the doctor well when I spoke with the receptionist to make the appointment she said they accepted Medicaid. Well they do but not for all procedures. So here I am hoping and praying I can make my son's only Christmas wish come true. He definitely deserves it. Because he has been bullied his whole entire life because of the way he looks. At the end of the day he just wants to look like everyone else. Please if you can find it in your heart to help Aiden get his prosthetic eye this will be the best Christmas present of all time.
