Help Me Put 10,000 Smiles On 10,000 Faces!
I love making kid's smile. I'm about to light up faces both young an old in some of the remotest parts of Australia as well in the Bushfire Affected Areas that we travel through.
Hi, I'm Michael Ahmazing and I'm a Balloon Artist.
I take an everyday balloon and turn it into a piece of Art!
Balloon Art has evolved over the last 30 years into more than just the humble balloon Poodle, Flower and Sword.
It's my passion to show just how far Balloon Art has come by twisting up creations far beyond what most children think is possible.
In my career spanning the past 15 years I have had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names in the world of Children's Entertainment including the Wiggles, High 5 and couple of Sesame Street Productions.
I've even collected some world records along the way.
In the peak of my career I was sponsored by corporate clients to travel far and wide to perform and endorse products.
In October 2016 I was diagnosed with a career ending and life changing illness and I stopped creating balloon art.
In April of 2019 my 9 year old son found me unconcious on the floor of our home after suffering from a brain hemorrhage.
Emergency brain surgery resulted in an unexpected recovery from my previously diagnosed illness.
These events sure gave life a new perspective for me!
Instead of attending usual fairs and festivals and performing at parties and weddings, I've made the decision to perform for children who would otherwise never get to see what I do.
That’s why I'm heading to Aboriginal communities in some of the remotest parts of central Australia. I want to spread the joy and bring smiles to children who would otherwise never get to witness live, international quality children's entertainment right in their home communities.
With your help, as we make our way through central and north west Australia I will also go into the devastated bushfire areas to help bring back some joy and optimism to the children and their parents in these affected communities.
Finding a Corporate Sponsor has been difficult, especially when the only outcome I'm looking for is a smile and not product promotion.
I won't be asking for money from these communities.
That's why after much consideration we are here with a GoFundMe campaign.
I'm asking you to help with a contribution of any size towards the cost of travel and my balloons.
By supporting me you can help me
to give the most simplest gift – together we make a child smile.
