Addison Lutz Open Heart Surgery

Spende geschützt
So you've all been told about little Addison Lee Lutz and her needing open heart surgery but here's a little more information for everyone...
Addison is almost 3 months old, when she was born we were told she had a very large Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) — sometimes referred to as a hole in the heart — is a type of congenital heart defect in which there is an abnormal opening in the dividing wall between the main pumping chambers of the heart (the ventricles).  As a result, when the heart beats, some of the blood in the left ventricle (which has been enriched by oxygen from the lungs) is able to flow through the hole in the septum into the right ventricle. In the right ventricle, this oxygen-rich blood mixes with the oxygen-poor blood and goes back to the lungs. The blood flowing through the hole creates an extra noise, which is known as a heart murmur. The heart murmur can be heard when a doctor listens to the heart beat with a stethoscope.
She was also born with 2 smaller Atrial Septal Defects (ASD) — sometimes referred to as a hole in the heart — is a type of congenital heart defect in which there is an abnormal opening in the dividing wall between the upper filling chambers of the heart (the atria). Normally the atria are separated by a dividing wall, the interatrial septum. If this septum is defective or absent oxygen-rich blood can flow directly from the left side of the heart to mix with the oxygen-poor blood inthe riht side of the heart or vise versa. This can lead to lower-than-normal oxygen levels in the atrial blood that supplies the brain organs and tissues.
Addison has been admitted to the hospital a few times due to her very slow growth. The last admission they had placed a feeding tube in and sent her home in hopes that she would gain some weight before they schedule her open heart surgery. They would prefer she be at least 10 pounds for the surgery. At her appointment this last friday February 27th she had unfortunatly only gained 1oz for the whole week which put her at a total of 7lbs and 1 ounce! So she was re-admitted. They are now looking at doing her surgery a lot sooner!
Although they have health insurance due to Addisons complications her mother Shelby Lutz is unable to work, and her father Josh Lutz is missing many days. They live in Forest Ohio and are commuting back and forth to Columbus for doctors appointments (2 hours from their home) And having to pay for meals while being at the hospital, all of these things can add up and i would love to raise some money to help them get by.  Bills don't stop coming just because you're not at home, or unable to work.  This is just the beginning and even after Addisons surgery because of her size we are expecting a very lengthly recovery time.  We appreciate anything you can do, even if it is just continued prayers!
