DESPERATE TO SAVE ALAN SMITH'S LIFE

Alan is loved by family, friends and even strangers. He always goes out of his way to help anyone at anytime. Alan is a compassionate, generous and gentle soul. He was stricken with a rare form of cancer with a 5 month prognosis. MD Anderson Cancer Clinic in Texas was the only facility offering a drug trial experimental treatment with a hopeful outcome. Alan has been there since July 2015 living in a motel. We had to pay a large sum of money to start treatment. Michigan insurance was not accepted at this facility.
I am working 2.5 jobs 12 hour shifts 7 days a week to try to save our house, car and to pay for his room and medical bills. Unable to take time off from work without pay and unable to afford plane fare, Alan is alone dealing with fear and anxiety of battling this dease. Not to mention the side effects of nausea, vomiting, hair loss, fatigue, low blood counts with no immunity, headaches and paralyzing bone pain even to painful to speak requiring 911 emergency help alone by himself.
The treatment is working but come to find out we are in need of paying $15,000 by January 1, 2016 to continue treatment. Alan is not of Medicare age and a US Citizen and no charity can help. Without the money up front, the treatment that is working will stop. Alan will be sent home and mostly likely die. My Aunt used to say, "If you give from the heart, you will never be without!"
It's a very hard thing to ask for help especially since Alan has always been the giver. But I am begging for anything anyone can do to help him in his time of need. Anything to help this wonderful human being, my best friend and husband, I will definitely pray for your health with love and gratitude. And may you NEVER have to endure this situation in your lifetime.
