Mission Trip "Rebuild my Church"

Hello there! As some of you may know, I used to work in construction and rebuilt homes for people after Hurricane Sandy hit. I feel called to use these talents of craftsmanship, that God gave me, to go and serve on a mission trip in Bosnia-Herzegovina, where I will be able to help rebuild St. Michael's Church (how Franciscan ...). St. Michael's Church is located in the village of Drinovic, Bosnia-Herzegovina. The church has played a major role in the life of the community, but it's falling apart. The Parish is in need of major restoration including: replacing the roof, installing heating and cooling equipment, replacing the windows, and cleaning the stone façade. The project is significant and needs to include a wider community. All the locals and surrounding villages helped when the church was built in 1984. I will be accompanied on this mission trip by other young adults and several Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFR). In addition to rebuilding a church we will also be making a pilgrimage to Medjugorje (where the Blessed Mother has been appearing to six children since 1981). A few days after the mission ends, I also have a beautiful opportunity to attend my friend’s first Mass of thanksgiving as a priest in Mostar, Bosnia. Then I will return to New York and immediately begin volunteering at the CFR Summer Camp in the South Bronx for the month of July.
These funds will go towards transportation, lodging, and supplies. 

The total amount I need for the mission trip is $3500. I need to be fully funded by June 2018.  Any amount helps such as $20, $50, $100, etc. Thank you so much! Please pray for me and this mission and please be assured of my prayers for you!
