As you may remember, Columbia University's African Economic Forum is the school's largest Africa-focused event. The 12th annual conference is themed Build Africa, Beyond Potential. Our goal this year is to propel the Africa narrative forward in a manner that is not only realistic, but also inclusive. Your contribution will make this possible.
To this end, we ask that you please support our gofundme campaign. Our aim is to raise at least $10,000.
Supporters will be acknowledged by name in this year's conference brochure. The three largest contributions also stand to win exciting prizes including (but not limited to):
- a signed (by Professors Paul Tierney and Murray Low) copy of Fall 2014 Private Equity and Entrepreneurship Course Notes
- a 2015 edition Columbia University photo book signed by the Dean's of SIPA, Law School and Business School
- a 2015 AEF t-shirt
