A Caring Hand Spring Family Fun Day
A Caring Hand is the only non profit in Manhattan that provides free bereavement services for kids (5-18) who have lost a loved one (sibling or parent).
ACH's "Council of Hope" started in 2016 and is a group of 20 and 30 year olds who have experienced loss and want to give back by supporting ACH's mission.
Our first event is a "Spring Family Fun Day" which will be held in early April at the Houston Center YMCA. It will be 3 hours filled with fun activities for ACH families (who have participated in our 11 week program) to mingle with old friends, make new friends, and just have fun. We anticipate about 50 kids, 30 parents, and need to raise funds for the days festivities. $3,300 is our goal and we would greatly appreciate any help!
Below is the breakdown of the event budget per activity. If you would like to donate for one of the activities in it's entirety we will include a counter card at the activity station with either your organizations logo or the name of somebody you want to honor with your donation (or you can stay anonymous if you wish).
— Photo Booth: $500
— Bounce Houses: $400
— Arts and Crafts: $300
— Games and prizes: $1,000
— Food/Beverage: $1,100
We appreciate your support!
With gratitude,
Michelle Fawbush (Event Chair) on behalf of ACH's Council of Hope
