A Place Of Our Own.
At a "Place of Our Own", believe that there is a true need for a place where youth in Roswell (and close proximity) can have a safe and positive environment to let their creativity and talent flow. We believe that a place that gets them off the streets and to a "Spot" to interact with their peers in safety and autonomy is a blessing. A Place where contemporary praise and worship will be played. This could be the difference between getting in trouble, or getting their life driven with purpose.
The concept is to create a platform for praise and worship by youth for youth. A place to see and be seen. Ultimately to showcase themselves and their talents . On Friday and Saturday night we will have different bands or performers showcase their unique brand of praise and worship. During the week we will teach staging and some audio and video engineering. We plan on teaching praise and worship arts to. We will also provide an outreach opportunity to introduce recovery topics and open discussions on issues plaguing their generation. This will be a safe place to express themselves and cultivate their purpose. This will be a " Place Of Our Own".
It is my prayer that others will understand my vision for our youth.
