To our family & friends - Please help us raise money to adopt a child...
As some of you may know, Rob & I have been trying to have a baby since we got married in May 2007.
6 years - That is a long time...
Without going into all the details, we've tried pretty much everything to get pregnant - letting it happen naturally, fertility treatments, etc.
It has been a roller coaster ride.
There have been highs and lows - and a lot of times we just wanted to cry, get off the ride and puke!
So after much consideration, we have decided to adopt.
As many of you may know, adoption is something that can be financially challenging and a very long journey.
We just didn't know where we could come up with the money to do so - especially after all that we have been through with our fertility adventures.
Then, we thought of fundraising. We know that there are countless numbers of fundraisers all over the world for so many different causes, so why not for a baby?
We thought it would be a crazy idea, but after looking online, so many couples have been able to raise money for the same thing!
So through the generosity of family, friends and anyone that hears our story, we are hoping to raise $25,000.00 to go towards adoption expenses.
It is really scary asking others for help, to throw aside our pride - especially with something this big and with hard economic times for so many people. But knowing that our family and friends helped bring our future baby to us will make it so much sweeter and more meaningful.
We will be forever grateful to you for any help you can give us to help us fulfill our dream of having a baby.
