Help Fred Karas have peace at home

Fred was a brick layer all his adult life. He was diagnosed with stage 3 multiple myeloma. He has been through every treatment possible including stem cell transplant & clinical trials, these treatments have all failed. His desire is to pass away at home, everything is set up to make it possible. He has NOT been able to work for 4 years. His wife Bernie has continued to work and this past year she has started school at the same time to become an LPN. She needs to take the remainder of his illness off work to take care of him and also just to spend time with him( it's time they will never get back). They desperately need donations to accomplish this. Fred is very much in pain at all times as this cancer disintegrates all his bones. If he's lucky, he may last the summer. They are expecting their first grandchild in 4 weeks and his deepest hope is to be alive to hold her.
