Vote Yes! on the Override
Donation protected
The Douglas Board of Selectmen voted to put an override question before the voters. The request for $1.5 million dollars will fund services at levels that keep the library and senior center doors open, teachers teaching, and critical services stable.
We have 5 short weeks to convince voters that it is time to put more funding towards the heart of our community -- the library, schools, our senior center and safety services -- the things that keep the heart of Douglas beating strong.
Won't you help? We need to print flyers and buy lawn signs. And print more flyers. We have a very short time to mount this campaign and to succeed but we can't do it without your help and generosity. Let's keep Douglas strong -- donate today!
Thank you!
P.S.To ensure compliance with campaign finance reporting requirements, please list your name and address in the comment field for any donations of $50 or more and also your occupation and employer for any donation of $200 or more. You may hide this information from the general public checking "Hide name and comment from everyone but the organizer" to protect your privacy.
