What would you do if you couldn’t provide food for your children? Where would you go if the most basic medicine was suddenly unavailable?
Most basic foods are now completely out of reach for low- and medium-income families – and everyone in fact. To give you an idea, the minimum wage is now, after the devaluation of the Lebanese pound, well, approx. 60 USD… per month.
Which is another way of saying people can’t afford to feed their families any more.
After our small-scale campaign - Helping Hands – in which, thanks to the amazing support of people, we managed to bring back 6500 dollars’ worth of supplies, and some food to feed approx. 95 families, we continue to reach out to friends, family, and all those who want to help.
This Helping Hands campaign will be ongoing for a few months in order to gather money to buy food and important supplies for families in need in Beirut, in Tripoli and other cities of the country.
Please help us reach our goal.
