Brian’s motorcycle accident

  Brian is a man who works hard for his family and loves even harder. For him, family extends far from just blood. Had being ex-military, serving under the Air Force, he is a man that knows what it means to be strong. His love of motorcycles started as a young boy, riding dirt bikes in the desert. His love for cruisers came true with his first purchase of a Yahmaha Bolt. Later on, he had just traded his first bike to what he’s always wanted, a Harley. So excited and proud of his new bike, he couldn’t wait to experience new adventures with our mom.

  September 21, 2020 our dad ,Brian Cheney, had been struck by a car riding his motorcycle. Riding home after working a double shift, the driver of the vehicle had made a right hand turn from the left lane traveling in Palm Springs, Ca. Devastatingly, the driver didn’t see our dad... leaving him without time and room to react.

  Though the accident being at a slower speed; arriving to the ER, their medical team alerts us that he is in critical condition. All through the night he was in and out of consciousness with a broken leg, ankle, arm, dislocated elbow, and face  lacerations leaving him “unrecognizable” as the doctors describe. Our fears grew as we received the news of him becoming unstable. The pressure in his head was increasing leaving no option but to preform surgery. Currently he has already gone through the first head surgery and a CT scan. Doctors say that he will be needing a second surgery for his brain.

  Our dad taught us what love is, how strong a family can be, and what it means to fight for what you believe in. 2020 has been a rough year for all of us but it’s better that we have each other. If you’re able to any and all donations are deeply appreciated. Thank you.
