My name is Cassandra and I have been invited and selected to travel as a delegate with the People to People Student Ambassador Program to Italy, Sicily, and Greece for 19 days in July 2012. I am trying to raise the money to pay for this trip by myself using this website and other fundraising activities.
This trip will allow me to grow by learning more about myself, other people and foriegn cultures, exploring ancient civilizations and architecture, making many new and lifelong friendships, and creating lasting memories for myself, my fellow delegates, and the many people we meet along the way.
The total cost of the trip, $7149.00, covers all airfare and transportation, insurance, hotels, meals, and activities. It does not include any spending money. I have already made the deposit and the first monthly payment, and I have monthly payments due from November 2011 through May 1st, 2012, when the final payment is due.
To do this, I need your help! Your generous donation, in any amount you can give, will help me reach my goal and go on the trip of a lifetime and will be greatly appreciated!
I will be keeping a journal of my trip and taking many pictures along the way. I hope to share them with everyone who donates as soon as I can after the trip. I will also send a personal thank you to any donor that sends me their mailing address by email.
