My Dad's funeral

Donation protected
I have started this fund for my father, Jim Branch. I am his son. He was 73 years old, when he passed away on April 1st.  My parents have been looking forward to celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in June, but they will not make it.
He had suffered from severe psoriatic arthritis for over 40 years. The arthrits, over the years, has disintegraded the bones in his fingers, and toes. It had fused the vertebrae in his neck and back, and caused his hands and feet to become deformed. A very painful condition. Due to all the medication he was taking he had all kinds of kidney and liver issues. We could always expect a hospital visit once or twice a year for kidney stones and gall bladder stones. We tried to get him a life insurance plan about 15 years ago to help my mother pay off the mortgage if something catastrophic  happened to him, but he was denied due to his prior medical history.
My parents had spent their entire savings, and pensions on prescriptions, medical bills, doctors, and mortgage payments - leaving little else for daily essentials.
Now that catastrophy has struck, my mother has had to start keeping up with the finances and is overwhelmed. She had no idea how dire their financial status was since my father handled that. Now she has found that they do not have the funds to have a proper funeral. We need blessings, and some help.
Jim served our country in the 1960's in the US Air Force, and he was a school teacher for the Memphis City School system for almost 30 years. Worked at the Memphis Skill Center for adult vocation, worked at Westside High School, Westwood High School, and Northside High School before retiring in 1995. In all those years he had touched thousands of lives, and provided a sound education. Later he began teaching 'A Course in Miracles', which is a spritual foundation for those seeking inner peace.
He was beloved by all who met him. His comittment to love, peace, and wisdom inspired so many. He has been a spiritual leader, and our moral compass, and he will be sorely missed.
Please help us send him home to God with the dignity and respect he has earned, and so deserves.
