Help send Ella to Interlochen Arts Academy

Hello! My name is Ella Schoenow. I am from Traverse City, Michigan. I am currently a freshman at Traverse City West High School. For as long as I can remember, music has been a huge part of my life. I have been captivated with the arts for an extremely long time, and it has been my dream to go to Interlochen Arts Academy. I sing and play mandolin, guitar, ukulele, and piano. I also draw, write songs and poetry. My dream is to someday become a singer songwriter. I have participated in several choirs over the past five years, including Varsity Women's Ensemble, NMC Childrens' Choir, and Trinity Lutheran Adult Choir.

High school students from all over the world apply to Interlochen Arts Academy each year. I was honored to have been accepted as a student to the Comparative Arts program for the Winter 2019 term and am hoping to begin attending classes in January. My family and I have been working  very hard to raise funds to cover the cost of tuition. Interlochen has awarded me a very generous scholarship. We are so close! Yet, unfortunately, we are falling a bit short of our goal. I am seeking help from donors to sponsor me, so I am able to begin my studies at Interlochen this January.

I believe attending school at Interlochen would open many opportunities in the future. I truly appreciate any donation you are willing to contribute. Supporters like you are the reason this can be possible.
