Amigos de Jesús Orphanage Mission Trip

Hello friends! I will be serving at an orphanage (Amigos de Jesús) in Honduras for the month of July.  The orphanage takes in children who were previously abandoned and/or abused and provides a loving home for them.  I can only imagine the suffering these children have faced, and I yearn to become the hands and feet of Christ in serving them.

As a substitute teacher, I have had the privilege of teaching many wonderful children here in the United States, and hope to use this experience to guide my future endeavors in the classroom.  I feel I am called to help those less fortunate in the world, and I know this will give me a wider perspective on life, love, and joy.
