Not even yet 6 months old yet, Jasmine has been diagnosed with Cleidocranial dysplasia. It is a rare genetic condition that affects teeth and bones, such as the skull, face, spine, collarbones and legs.

As Dave and Akhifa navigate this unexpected and challenging time there are large imminent medical costs looming. They are currently at an Ottawa area hospital where everything is covered.

They anticipate being discharged in a week. Once at home they need to bear the costs of medical equipment and supplies required for Jasmine’s care themselves as they are not covered by OHIP.
