Sophie Mededovic passed away too soon. She died the day before Mother's Day, on May 10, 2014, leaving behind her husband, Renad, and their three young children, Theo (12), Zoe (7) and Lily (5). She died from complications of a pulmonary embolism and had been battling cancer that was diagnosed at the end of last year.
Sophie was an extraordinary mom, wife and friend. She loved her family very much and she worked outside the home to help support them. She worried about them and their future most when she learned about her illness.
