Medical Mission to Dominican Republic

Hey guys as most of you probably know by now I'm a first year medical school student at Emory University in Atlanta. As hard as it is to believe I'll soon be a 2nd year student. We only have a few weeks left in the year and when we start our summer vacation I have an AWESOME opportunity to participate in a medical mission trip with Global Health Outreach (GHO). GHO is part of the Christian Medical Dental Association which has a chapter at Emory. From June 21-29 our team is going to the Dominican-Haitian border where we will get a chance to mostly help and serve displaced refugees living along the border. I am going to be part of a 30 person team which will include physicians, dentists, along with a team of people who will serve the people on a spiritual level. Being able to serve others and show them the love of Christ is an awesome opportunity that I very much look forward to. It will also give me a chance to get a vast amount of experience that can only help me as I continue my training at Emory. To be able to pull this off though, I am asking for your help. I need to have $1800 to be able to go on the trip. The money will go towards getting me to the DR and also towards paying for the large number of medical supplies and medicines that we will need while we are there.
