Clean Water Project

Aberdeen Standard and Karen Hilltribe Trust have come together to give few of us a chance to make a difference in the lives of Karen communities residing in North Thailand.

The goal of this trip will be to help build a clean water system for the people. The Aberdeen team will be tasked with building concrete molds to house water that has been piped in from several kilometers away, in order to create a sustainable water system.

Chaz and I will work as part of a project to build a clean water system helping the local people live in a healthy and sustainable environment. The project will give the people the opportunity to improve family health, grow diverse crops all year round as well as sell surplus crops at the market. Profits can then be used to provide access to basic needs such as education and healthcare.

Aberdeen will fund two new school dormitories, school meals and a new school bus as well.

Thank You.
