Todd's Leukemia Treatment
Spende geschützt
Our dad, Todd, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia just a few days before Thanksgiving. He is currently undergoing his first of several month-long stays, extensive chemotherapy, and other aggressive treatment regimens, to hopefully put the cancer into remission. This is his initial treatment and he will require multiple additional rounds of chemotherapy over the next 6-12 months with more extended hospital admissions. Ultimately, he may likely require a bone marrow transplant and several more treatments at UC Davis.
With this diagnosis, he has a long difficult road ahead of him. He is unable to work and his treatment will render him unable to work long term. This leaves his wife solely responsible to cover all bills and medical expenses. Todd is faced with an incredible burden to heal from this diagnosis along with managing his sadness of not being able to see his friends and family, the very last thing he needs to be concerned with are the daunting medical bills accruing by the day.
With this fundraiser request, we are humbly asking for support in hopes to offset the stress of financial burdens mounting in order to allow Todd some peace of mind to remain calm and focused on healing and getting home to his family and friends.
