Luke Needs A Wheelchair Van

Our son Luke is affected with a genetic muscle disease called myotublar myopathy. He has a trach and uses a ventilator to breath. He is wheelchair bound. Luke is a brilliant little man who loves Star Wars, playing wheelchair soccer, and video games. Luke drives a very heavy power wheelchair. One that cannot be loaded into our small honda crv or car. We need a van where he can get lifted up into the van so he can go places. We haven't been able to purchase one due to the costs of life. We currently load Luke's manual chair, one he cannot control and drive on his own, into the car. We cannot take his power chair allowing him the freedom to drive anywhere but school since a bus comes and gets him. On family outings, church on Sundays, and anywhere with the family, we have to push Luke, which limits him. We are grateful to have Luke in our life, to b blessed with such a special miracle son.
