I am friends with Rob and Denise ...Corey Findlay has asked me to set this page up for one of his best friends Rob Tirs who was in a very serious accident...
Rob was in snowmobile accident last night( Jan 06 2016). He is in a medically induced coma right now. They figure to keep him under for about a week for pain management. He has 5 ribs with multiple breaks, a punctured lung, a ruptured spleen, and several fractured vertebrae in his neck. They have a cervical collar on him. It will remain until they wake him and determine if there is any spinal injury. They are hoping to save his spleen and figure he will need plates on his ribs to stabilize his rib cage.
We are hoping to hit our goal to help assist Rob and his family in the difficult time of recovery.
Rob is a dedicated Family man and a very hard worker he has passion for his job at the Kelowna Airport.
The money Donated will be used for any medical bills and to help assist his family with day to day costs like help with paying for their bills and put food on the table.. As it is undecided of the amount of recovery time
Any donation is fully appreciated even if all you can afford is $5.00 just know you are helping someone very special to a lot of people.
