Please help Donald

3 years ago my family and I welcomed Donald into our home. He was a rescue from Puerto Rico that we adopted from ARF of Mercer https://www.facebook.com/arfofmercer/



For 9 months he lived the happiest life with us, but then he had his first seizure. We rushed him to the vet hoping there’d be a simple solution to a simple problem, but we were wrong. There was never a clear diagnosis and varying doses of medication never stopped the seizures completely. Today, it doesn’t seem like the medication does anything at all. Our vet specialist strongly suggests an MRI to figure out what’s going on. That’s why I’m writing this now. They estimated the cost would be between $2000-$2800, and with an operation/more medication afterwards likely, I’ve set the goal for this campaign on the higher end of the estimate.

[EDIT: we’ve tried CBD oil with some success, but the MRI is the most responsible way forward]
