May 10th 2017, the cardiologist  gave us the worse news of all...he expexted this baby not to live longer than a few hours. She has proven doctors wrong. This sweet baby has caudal regression syndrome, also known as sacral agenesis. She also has a fetal heart disorder and other medical issues associated with CRS. She has situs inversus, her stomach and liver are on the wrong sides of her little body. There are four levels (or "types") of malformation. The most severe types involve a total absence of the sacrum. Elizabeth's spine stops at L1. Her pelvis is fused. Her severity is level 4. I am humbled in seeking help, having taken pride in having supported myself and my daughter's for all these years alone,  but I find myself humbled and desperate right now.
