Dominica: My Nation is Bleeding

Donation protected
On the morning of Monday, September 18th 2017, Dominica was struck and decimated by Category 5 Hurricane Maria. Wind speeds of over 160km/h tore through the island’s communities. Homes were completely destroyed - walls, roofs, and structures were eradicated.

Families are displaced and lacking access to basic necessities – electricity, consumable water, and food are in dangerously short supply. In communities, these things are completely unavailable.

Majorities of the communities are isolated as roads and bridges have been washed away via the hurricane’s wrath. Even after this devastation, another tropical disturbance warning has been issued. Hopefully it wont be as destructive. The island can not take any further ruin.

The general populous is in dire straights and needs all the support they can get to survive. So please, donate what you can. Every contribution makes a difference.

All funds will go towards needed supplies, including:

· Mosquito nets
· Food
· Bottled water
· Tarps
· Clothing
· Hygienic products
· Shelter materials
· Baby supplies
· First Aid supplies

Thank you for your contribution and support.
