9 month old french bulldog in desperate need for help!

Hi my name is Chelsea, I'm fundraising as this is our last resort and we're in desperate need to get our little bubbly, loveable, bundle of joy the care he needs and back home where he belongs.

On Saturday 8th February our 9 month old french bulldog (buddy) had to receive emergency care from the amazing team of nurses.

Luckily we was home when buddy had his first seizure. We rushed buddy straight to the vets where he was in and out of seizures until we arrived. The vets rushed poor little buddy straight in and sedated him straight away.

At this point we was told that buddy is in a critical condition and is needing critical care. Where he would be under the correct care over night to monitor him. We was told to go home and wait for a further update. 12:30am we got a phone call off the vet to say they had tried to bring buddy back round but unfortunately he was still having seizures. They sedated him again and made him comfortable on fluids over night. Sunday morning we went to visit buddy as they brought him back round and he'd not shown any alarming signs, they let us spend half and hour with buddy, he was really excited to see us and was being his happy little self. That half an hour flew by and only felt like 5 minutes we was then told again to wait for further update. We received a call sunday night to say his bloods had come back clear. And there was a possible chance he could be home Monday night.

We received a call this morning (Monday 10th) with some unfortunate bad news of, the medication buddy was on is not taking effect like they'd hoped for and need to refer buddy for further scans.

We have now been informed that buddy needs to be referred for an MRI scan to see if they can locate the problem causing the seizures.

They won't refer buddy for the MRI scan until the full cost are paid. which they have advised us it's £3000 and it's a vital test that he really does need.

As you can imagine we have already paid so much this weekend alone in vet bills and didn't think we'd hit an all time low we've come to the point where we can't afford to pay the full cost off buddy's further treatment as we now have no savings left.

Setting up a go fund me was my very last option, but I have no other choice.

Every second our little buddy is delayed from the test he needs, it can cause long term damage, his seizures could lead to loss of oxygen leading to brain damage

The quicker he gets his test, the more of a chance we have of saving his life♥️

Every prayer & every share, and all the support we can get is very very much appreciated. We have 3 young children who adore buddy and have questioned every day since "when is buddy home?" And we can't answer that right no the house don't feel the same with out him running around, chewing our shoes and being the king he is♥️
