The Janssen family fund

On Sept 25, 2013 Shauna had an elective surgery that was supposed to have a quick recovery and increase her quality of life. Ten days post op a small leak was found in her stomach,a post op complication of the surgery. Seven months later, Shauna is still struggling with her health. She has spent at least a week in the hospital every month since October with the longest being 22 days in February. During all of this, Shauna has lost her job and health benefits. Their income has been more than cut in half causing many financial struggles on top of the continuous medical bills that keep piling up. This has been such a burden on her, her husband Jerry, and their four small children, Julian age 8, Elliot age 6, Amelie age 4, and Oliver age 2.
