The mission of Mae Organization, Inc. is to operate on a Mind, Body, Spirit model which empowers and compassionately facilitates in the healing of mental illness and opioid addictions with the homeless demographic through holistic healing modalities. Mae wishes to support and empower our homeless clients to become self-sufficient and get off homelessness, not enablers of street living.
We have a special Christmas wish of reaching $10,000 or more as we have not had the opportunity to fundraise during these challenging times of Covid.
Unfortunately, during the months of covid, many more RI families are facing hunger, losing their shelter (home) and facing homelessness.
With your support you can help us help our most vulnerable friends facing the greatest hardships.
*Your donation will go directly to helping families get into housing.
The greatest feeling we can have is put a key to an apartment in someone's hands as that is the most direct way of helping someone out of homelessness. We will be able to assist with first and last month rental deposits.
*Your donation will also help us get individuals off the street, especially during brittle cold and snowy days. We will be able to get them one or more good nights of comfortable sleep and a warm shower until better more sustainable living arrangements can be made for these individuals.
* Your donation will also help us purchase critical winter items such as
tents
tarps
blankets
