Cuddle for a Cause

On June 14, 2017 our son Landon Joseph Loud was stillborn @ 36+ weeks after a seemingly perfect and healthy pregnancy. This devastating loss has changed our family forever. Finding goodness and light in our new reality, day to day, is challenging. We cannot and will not accept this. So, we are determined to bring some goodness and light to other families who may need it, in Landon's name, with your help if you're willing. We were lucky to be able to spend a collective few hours with our precious baby, but at a cost. As you can imagine, when someone dies their physical condition deteriorates at a rapid pace, and our hospital did not have what is called a Cuddle Cot. Cuddle Cots are basically a cooling system built into a cot that you can keep the baby in to help slow down the "process" to enable the parents to spend more time with their beloved baby before they have to say goodbye knowing they will never see them again. October is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month and we would love to be able to donate a cuddle cot to our hospital. In the U.S., approximately 23,600 babies are stillborn each year. That is 1 in 160 babies and not as uncommon as you might think. Please help us bring some goodness and light to another family who will unfortunately have to experience this heart breaking loss.
