September 1st is my first day as an officer. But before that: one more Nijmegen march, my eighth. This time it's not about the medal.
My father drove a BMW E31 840Ci in "Laguna Green." That exact color-and-model combination is existing twice, worldwide. I'm in touch now with the owner of the second one. In two years, I get to take it over.
Two years is a long time. Too long to just wait. So I'm starting now: finding an E31, tearing it apart, restoring it piece by piece, documenting every step. Not a finished showpiece. Workshop floor, rust, probably a curse word or two along the way.
Every euro you donate goes straight into buying and restoring this car. Nothing else.
