There are times when there are NO words to adequately explain what it is you are feeling. That has to be what it is like when you lose a child. My friend and colleague Liz Pike is dealing with what must be the worse 10 days of her life. last week she lost her mother after a fight with a prolonged illness. Just as she was attempting to get her feet back underneath her after the loss of a parent. She is given the HORRIBLE news that a tragic accident has befallen her son and he was put into an induced coma in the intensive care unit. It is with GREAT sadness that I share that he passed at some time last night and Liz is left to wrestle with the darkness and demons that come with the loss of a child. I am out of my comfort zone in terms of emotional support in a time like this but if there is ANYTHING i can do that allows her and her family the ability to navigate the grieving process without having to be burden by the "how do we pay for all of this" then I am ALL IN. if you feel so inclined to support me in this endeavor during the awful time in her life then i am sure she and her husband would be forever grateful.  Any funds raised will be going directly to Liz and her family to assist with funeral expenses.
