Project Partner - Asia Soccer Outreach

This summer, I have the awesome opportunity to serve in a leadership position at a soccer camp for Project Partner with Christ that is taking place in Hong Kong. Project Partner is ready to invest in me, and I believe that God has called me to be involved with the work that is taking place in Hong Kong. We will be in Hong Kong from July 17 - July 28, 2014. Some of the key objectives of our Hong Kong mission plan are:

"¢ Be a Christ-like example for children attending our camp, by living out His love & sharing it with them
"¢ Build relationships with our campers through soccer drills and scrimmages.

Right now in Hong Kong, only 7% of the population calls themselves Christians. There's an opportunity to share the Good News of Christ in Hong Kong. We want to take advantage of this time while the window is still open. Our work will not only reach new believers, but help existing Christians reach their own community for Christ.

Would you join me in this trip with prayers and financial support? My goal is to enlist prayer partners and obtain donations to offset the cost of $3,200 for individual expenses (food, lodging, and transportation). Any support you provide takes me one step closer to achieving this goal.

I feel led to participate in the trip because God has been calling me to:
"¢ Travel outside my comfort zone and join others in order to influencing the lives of others for Jesus Christ
"¢ Share his loving word with people that may not have even heard Jesus' name
"¢ Build deeper relationships in and around Hong Kong, with the other trip participants
"¢ Immerse myself in such an extremely different culture that I will learn more about the world and myself

To make this trip possible, I need to raise $3,200. Anything you can give I would be grateful for. Please pray to the Lord and let Him lead you in your decision. Please help me raise $2,000 by May 15 and the remaining balance by July 1st.
