Michelle’s Fight For Life
Donación protegida
13 Days ago Michelle slipped on her driveway and cut her knee, requiring a visit to the hospital and 6 stitches. 24hrs later she was rushed to hospital and put on life support where they learned she had a serious infection from soil born bacteria.
Unfortunately there was no choice but to amputate her right leg. Michelle has now undergone 7 critical surgeries, 3 blood transfusions and remains on life support fighting for her life.
Needless to say her partner Ben and their son Ollie are absolutely devastated and praying for the best. They are a young family of 3 and Ben is a sole trader who runs a painting business in the Whitsundays area. They are in desperate need of community support to help with emergency medical and accommodation funds, as Michelle has been transferred to Brisbane in order to give her the best chance at life and the long road to recovery.
As many would know, Ben has helped alot of people in the community over the years, and his young family are now in desperate need of our help. I know the Whitsundays community is a wonderful community when it comes to looking after our own. If you can help with any sort of assistance or donations it will be very much appreciated.
