SF Young Life College to the Philippines

Hi friends! We have the exciting pleasure to inform you all that we have a very special opportunity through Young Life College to participate in a service trip to the Philippines from May 26-June 3. As you all may be well aware, the Philippines were struck by Typhoon Haiyan earlier this year and are still in the stages of recovery. During these trying times, Young Life in the Philippines have been active in areas such as the devastated island of Leyte as well as all throughout the Philippines. Through this trip our team hopes to encourage, support, and provide any help we can offer to the local Young Life ministry and staff.
As much as our trip is about service, we also stress the importance of building a lasting relationship with the local Young Life staff and leaders, providing them with encouragement and whatever else they may need for their persevering efforts and ministry with the local neighborhoods.
As excited as we are for the trip, we are even more excited to personally invite you to take part and become partners with us on our journey! We would first like to ask for your thoughts and prayers as we embark on this trip that would most certainly try our physical and mental bodies. We would also like to invite you into help support Young Life in the Philippines through the means of a small donation. Our current goal is to raise $3000 for the entire team. We have already paid for our own airfare and all proceeds raised through this would go directly into funding our lodging, food, and the ministry we'll be engaging in the Philippines. Any small amount would help and be greatly appreciated.
If you choose to become a partner with Young Life College during this trip, we'll be more than glad to share with you what we were able to accomplish with your help as well as offering you a small token from the Philippines to show our gratitude and thanks. Stay tuned for updates!
