Helping in Zambia

My daughters and I are spending the month of July volunteering in the Mukuni Village in Zambia with the many orphans of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. In Zambia, each child has to pay school exam fees, buy uniforms, and shoes. For one year of education it costs approximately $180. Ryann and I will be working in the school, and Sammi will be volunteering in the health clinic. Besides these duties, we hope to take part in building a community house for orphans. To learn more about the NGO we are working with, go to

1. Sponsor an orphan – $180 per year or $16 per month
