Grace Weimer Protein Project

Donation protected
Protein deficiency in children can lead to kwashiorkor (big bellies) and ultimately death from malnutrition or disease. The Grace Weimer Protein Project was started in 2013 to help young children living in impoverished conditions in a village in Uganda, Africa. Each $25 donation provides a hard boiled egg to a hungry, protein-deficient child twice a week for all of 2017! We have adopted four orphans from Uganda and this is one of the ways we continue to help the children who remain in the beautiful country of Uganda. Help us reach our goal of feeding 200 children in 2017. If we exceed our goal that is even better as we do have to turn away hungry children every week. All donations are tax-deductible and we will email receipts from St. Mary's Catholic Church to anyone who provides an email address. Thank you and God Bless!
