New Beginning After Loss:Support a Survivor and Her Children

On March 30, 2025, our family was devastated by the tragic loss of my sister’s 19-year-old son, who took his own life. This unimaginable pain became a turning point in her life—a moment that gave her the strength to finally break free from over 20 years of domestic violence.

With courage and faith, my sister fled with her nine younger children—ages 17 to 3—to start over, leaving behind everything in order to protect her kids and give them a chance at a safer, healthier life.

Now, she is facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding from scratch—grieving the loss of her son while trying to create a stable home for her children. The emotional and financial weight is immense. We are asking for help to cover legal fees related to custody and protection, as well as basic living expenses such as rent, food, clothing, and transportation while they work toward stability.
