Help Fredly Fight Stage 4 Colon Cancer

My name is Amy Dunkle Castano, I am writing to ask for help for our dear friend Fredly Samson. He was admitted to ER on April 5th for severe stomach pain and swiftly diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, with surgery on April 10th. They removed the mass in one location but found two more on his stomach wall. He is currently recovering from the surgery and will be undergoing chemotherapy for 6 months starting May 18th. After 6 months of chemotherapy, he will fly to San Francisco for advanced HIPEC chemotherapy treatment for an estimated 3 months.

As those of you who know Fredly can imagine, he remains very positive as he faces the challenging road ahead. In his usual upbeat voice he shared how he is going to fight this with everything he has since he wants to be there for his children.

Fredly is very hard working, and until recently worked at Vacasa Waikiki managing vacation rental homes, but hasn't been able to go back to work since the surgery as he is still recovering.

Fredly and his wife remain extremely humble and were hesitant for me to even reach out to share his burdens and current situation. However, we know there are many in the community who he has touched and would like to help him in his time of need.
