Penny

Hello friends, I'd like to introduce you to Penny!! Penny was rescued by my daughter and her husband through an organization (Lucky Paws) who helps connect families with at need animals. Penny came to her forever home from the great state of Texas in March of this year. It was love at first sight!! Penny has been enjoying her new life in Washington, making lots of friends, and being an all around AMAZING seven month old puppy!! Last night Penny was enjoying a ride in the car with her dad (Matt) when she suddenly and tragically fell out of the car window!! She fell out into traffic. Her dad stopped the car immediately, and ran out into oncoming traffic to save Penny's life!! She was immediately rushed to the ER. Thankfully, Penny survived the accident, however, Penny will need surgery to fix her major injuries!! My daughter (Dani) is a vet nurse and dedicates her life to loving, protecting, and helping animals!! It is her passion!!! Both Dani and Matt LOVE Penny very much.. But, this unexpected and tragic accident will put a HUGE financial burden on them. I put my mind to work thinking of how I could best help!! This led me to asking for permission to set up a go fund me account to try and raise money to offset some of the substantial costs associated with Penny's hospital and surgical bills. If you are so inclinded and have the means to help raise funds to offset these costs I know that Penny's family will be extremely, extremely grateful!!!
